SWIMCLUB

DEAR PARENTSand STUDENTS,

• Swim Club will begin on Monday, September 22,2014, and end (fall session) on Friday, November 21, 2014.

The spring session will begin on Monday, March 16th, and it will end on Friday, May 22nd. See the Spring 2015 Session schedule at the bottom of the page.

• Each one-hour session will be a recreationalswim.
• The city cost for a recreational swim is $2.00for each day your child participates; parents/students are encouraged to paywhat you are able. Any unpaid fees will be paid for by Wangenheim, through the RecyclingClub. Students who use this resource areasked to help with the recycling on campus. PLEASE BRING 10 EMPTY (AND RINSED) PLASTIC BOTTLES TO ROOM 605 IFYOU ARE UNABLE TO PAY THE SWIMMING FEE THAT DAY.
• The permission slip is attached. This formneeds to be signed and returned to Meg Reilly in room 605 by Thursday, Sept.18, or no later than our first swim day, Friday, Sept. 19^th.
• We will meet after school on Mondays and Thursdays/Fridaysin room 605. You may leave your backpackin the classroom, unless you are being picked up from the college campus. Wewill walk to Miramar Aquatic Center by 2:30 pm.
• After class, we will return to the Wangenheimcampus by 4:00 pm. Mrs. Reilly will release students to Prime Time, and thensupervise remaining students until parents arrive.
• Please bring a bathing suit or board shorts,along with a towel, sunscreen, and goggles if you have a pair, in a bag. You will change at the Aquatic Center.

It is my hope that you/your child enjoys this opportunity to exerciseand enjoy water activities with friends and classmates at Wangenheim.
