The mission and vision of the Wangenheim Middle School Counseling program is to provide students with the supports they need to reach their highest potential. The Wangenheim Middle School Counseling team consists of 2 certificated school counselors who bring a combined 32 years of K-12 experience supporting students with the development of academic, college/career, and social emotional learning skills to ensure that they become life-long learners. The counselors strive to create positive school and community culture by using various modalities including classroom presentations, peer mediation, group lessons, individual and group student planning, conflict resolution, crisis intervention, individual counseling, referrals to outside community resources, and collaboration with parents, teachers, staff, administration, and community partners. As a team we will work together to ensure that ALL students become positive, productive, and engaged members of the community.
